We will never forget you my friend
My friend and comrade. I had the great honor and privilege of serving alongside you. You were loved by all who knew you. No one could cheer us up like you with your crazy smile and humor. I cried then and now for the loss of a friend and a man so young and full of promise. You live on in our hearts and I vow to never, never forget you.

What Chris said. We shared the best and the worst and the best brothers in arms can share. You made the worst gooder, and the best -- goodest!
Now that Chris has helped me remember you, I vow NEVER to forget you.

If I am right I met you over 30yrs ago in dau tieng base camp. I remember you as intelligent, talented guy who played guitar one night. The music was classical and audience was crude but loved your effort for us. I hope I am wrong and you are still playing back in the world. I fear that I am correct about this veteran. If so I hope there is music for you and some peace to your family. I will remember and tell my family.

Dear, Richard
Your courage and willingness to fight will forever be remembered in the eyes of every American now and in the future. The sacrifices you made and the family and friends that you gave up to give Americans the freedoms that we have today was very generous. I just wanted to thank you for everything that you did for the United States of America and its people.
