3 GIs, Marine From Area Die In Viet Battles
First Lt. Reginald A. Stancil, 24, of Rose Hill ave., West Grove, Chester county (PA). Lt. Stancil was leading his artillery unit in support of a Marine group at Khe Sahn when he was killed by mortar fire. He was a 1965 graduate of Lincoln University and was in Vietnam three months. Survivors include his wife, the former Elaine Richardson, of West Grove; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Stancil, of Bristol; four brothers, George, Lee, Joseph and William Jr., and four sisters, Betty, Valerie, Jane and Evelyn.

Article appeared in part in The Philadelphia Inquirer on January 30, 1968. The other 2 soldiers and Marine mentioned in the article were SP4 William J. Davidson Jr., of Downingtown, PA and PFC Edward J. Craig of Willingboro, NJ, and Marine PFC Donald L. Hunter of Penns Grove, NJ.
